|Frisco Summer Camps - Instructor Mark Bowlby has been involved in children’s fitness and Summer Camp programs for over 20 years. As co-owner of two gymnastics schools in New England, Mark developed a love for helping children acquire athletic skills, self-confidence, coordination, and good overall fitness levels. |
It is Mark’s belief that if children are having fun while getting fit they will have a positive attitude toward other fitness activities as they move into adulthood. Mark has developed a half-day Summer Camp program called “Super Summer Fun Days” that utilizes the incredible Frisco Athletic Center’s facility and outdoor Aquatic Center.
Pulling from his years of experience running Summer Camps in New England Mark saw an opportunity to design a camp that was fun and physically active for the local children of this area. Utilizing all the areas of the FAC, Children play in the Teen “Zone” room, swim in both the outdoor and indoor swimming pools, have organized arts & crafts time, and play many different cooperative and challenge type games in the fitness studio rooms and finish up the day in the basketball gym for some fun large group active games.
Children are introduced to new games and fun activities each day. The half-day setting is perfect for getting lots of fun physical activity while not overwhelming the children.
